She’s fun, chirpy and looks like an easy-going, happy-go-lucky girl. Not that she is not, but with her latest revelation to Filmfare, Parineeti dug a little deeper to make us realize that when it comes to love, she’s just like all of us.
I’m not the dating kind. I don’t just meet people, date them and go home with them. That’s not my scene. Like I said, my relationship history has two long-term ones. Both times I thought I’d marry this person. Actually, for me a relationship is that.
I’ll never get attracted to you… I’ll fall in love with you, be in a relationship with you. I won’t be like let’s see where this goes and let’s try this out…That’s not me. It’s black and white and very simple with the intention of being long term always.
So even if she says she hasn’t done anything crazy in love and has been mostly limited to late night chats, she has surely spent a night weaving poetry for someone.
And when she was asked about her heartbreaks, boy, she turned out to be our hero- been there, done that.
You know like those mornings when you can’t get up? Yup. Parineeti has been there too!
And in spite of it all, she moved on and is living her life happily single. In spite of it all, she still wants to be in love.
If I had somebody in my life, someone whom I could call at the end of the day, I’d work even better. Right now, I’m on my own and that’s cool too. But being in love would make me happy too.
I’m not the kind who says I want to focus on my career. I want to focus on both. I do want to get married in a few years and have children. I wouldn’t put my career over everything else.
At the end of the day, be it under the limelights or street lights, we all feel the same things. No?
