Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been in great form and has transformed himself into a ‘run making machine.’ He is ruthless, relentless and is pursuing victory in every game regardless of the pressure he faces from the oponents. On third Test against Sri Lanka at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground, Kohli scored a majestic 243 and became the first international captain to score six Test double centuries eclipsing the previous best by West Indian legend Brian Lara.

Making a mockery of the Sri Lankan attack, Kohli took 238 deliveries to reach the milestone in the company of Rohit Sharma who made a fine half-century before lunch. Virat Kohli now has as many six double centuries as Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag. At Kotla, playing in his 63rd Test, Kohli scored at a strike rate of 84.66, and batted for over seven hours to underline his supreme fitness.

And the praises have been flooding in for him from all corners, and the unexpected one being from the Pakistani media.

During a show, a Pakistani cricket expert said that there was no player on the Pakistani side has form similar to that of the Indian skipper.

They said that every member of Team India is busy making runs – be it Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, K L Rahul, or Rohit Sharma.

The Pakistani media praised Kohli in saying that no player in the world can come closer to what Kohli has achieved. However, they said if India continues to perform well with South Africa in the upcoming Test match then it will become the world’s most dangerous team.

India will start their tour of South Africa with the New Year’s Test, which is likely to begin on January 5 or 6 in Cape Town.
